We are able to offer our clients the option of both operated plant hire and the facility to hire our operators to operate your own thrust boring equipment on site.
All our operators have been fully trained and have been issued with the Construction Skills Certification Scheme cards – operated and regulated by CITB – which is the main accepted proof that individuals working on construction sites have the required training and qualifications for the type of work they carry out. As well as this our operators all take the Confined Space Entry – Escape Sets training course which gives an in-depth understanding of the requirements of the law, associated legislation, safe systems of work and risk assessments. This course also includes competent use of appropriate Confined Space Equipment and practical assessments covering access, egress and safe working practices in Confined Spaces and Hazardous areas.
In addition to operating the thrust boring equipment, operators will maintain equipment and carry out daily checks. All our operators are issued with protective clothing including safety helmets, hi-visibility PPE, gloves, ear defenders and safety glasses are worn when necessary.
